ClickTime 6.2
Table of Contents
We released ClickTime version 6.2 today which includes improvements to job estimation, Week View timesheet entry and web services. The changes are as follows:
- New Job Estimation Option - you can now create job estimates by task. You can define these task estimates in hours or billed amounts (e.g. “we told the client the project will cost them $5,000 for development”). Contact Professional Services to add these advanced estimation features to your account.
- Week View Timesheet Entry (Beta 4) - we've improved the speed and design of the Week View Beta 4 timesheet entry page. We encourage you to try it out if you aren't already using it and let us know how you like it.
- Web Services 2.2 - This new version of web services is no longer in beta. This new version includes support for sub-jobs as well as some other improvements. You can review what's new and how to upgrade to version 2.2 by reviewing the web services documentation. Version 2.1 of web services will remain available until December 1, 2009.
- Dashboard Estimation Chart - The estimation dashboard chart displays data more clearly, including large values.
- Navigation Improvements - We've updated the look of the primary navigation options across all pages of the application.
- Desktop App: Known Issue - Currently, if you turn on the new "estimation by job and task" feature, your company won't be able to use the ClickTime Desktop Application. We expect to resolve this issue in the near future.
