Security and Simplicity

Single Sign-on (SSO) To Track Time

Enjoy flexible and secure access.

What is SSO?

Single Sign-On (often referred to as SSO) allows your team to log into multiple applications with a single authentication. It means that you won’t have to manage the password creation process for each service or software that you use.

Sign in made easy

Start Tracking Faster with SSO Authentication

With SSO, you can access all of your applications — Google, your calendar, ClickTime — by authenticating just once, using one single login.

Streamline Your Identity Management

Manage Users with SCIM

With ClickTime’s robust SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) integration, you can manage  user properties from a single identity provider such as Okta, OneLogin, or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

Users created in your identity management platform can be automatically added or removed from applications such as ClickTime. This streamlines your user management processes, eliminating the need for manual updates and reducing the potential for error.

By centralizing your user data, you can onboard new team members swiftly, manage user access securely, and ensure that the right users have access to the right applicaitons.

ClickTime users can be created, deactivated, and have certain extended properties set automatically when using SCIM. Contact your account executive for more information.

Empowerment

With Single Sign-On (SSO) through a major identity provider, you gain access to a wide range of security features. These may include 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), hardware keys, and biometric identification – in addition to new technologies as they become widespread.

Simplicity and Freedom

Ease of Use

ClickTime has partnered with companies like OneLogin and Okta to manage the migration process for existing ClickTime customers to enable SSO andSCIM, and they provide any support necessary to upgrade your current security profile. With providers like Google, the integration is as easy as just using your Gmail account.

Single Sign-On (SSO) Partnerships

ClickTime partners with leading Identity and Access Management (IAM) providers to help you harness the power and flexibility that these secure cloud-based solutions offer. These providers make it easy for companies to secure and manage access to almost all web applications in the cloud, and on-premises.

OneLogin

OneLogin empowers businesses to consolidate their directory and business applications on a single platform. With pre-integration to over 3000 applications, it provides Active Directory Integration, SAML-based authentication, user provisioning, and SCIM.

Okta

Okta, boasting thousands of applications in its public catalog, provides identity and access management, company directory integration, application management, and secure authentication methods such as SAML. Okta also supports SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for efficient user provisioning and management, ensuring consistent user data across all your connected applications. Discover more about ClickTime’s partnership with Okta, leveraging SCIM for a streamlined and secure web timesheet experience.

Google Apps

SSO is available for Google Apps for Work, Education, and Government. It enables easy access to ClickTime when logged into Google Apps.

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Entra ID is an identity management service that Microsoft developed on the Azure cloud. Entra ID users can easily connect their ClickTime Enterprise accounts to their company’s domain.

ClickTime also supports on-premise Active Directory through our Professional Services Team.

Custom and On-Premise SAML-based Systems

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a secure, open-standard XML-based communications mechanism for sharing identities between organizations and applications. SAML allows for more freedom of choice and enterprises are free to choose their vendors knowing that the standards ensure interoperability across identity providers. Through our Professional Services team, ClickTime also supports on-premise and custom SAML providers such as Shibboleth.
