Our 2013 Summer Interns
One of the things we're most proud of at ClickTime is our summer internship program, which has been very successful for our firm (and is starting to be recognized by others in our industry).
Given our proximity to UC Berkeley, we do most of our recruiting there. Every year we offer summer internships in our development, product management and marketing departments. Interns shadow our full-time employees and complete typical assignments. They also work as a team to complete a single summer-long project, which they present to the company.
Several of our best employees started as interns, and many others have gone on to great careers elsewhere in the software industry. We'd like to introduce you to this year's class:
Lydia Zhang
Hello! I'm Lydia, a sophomore at UC Berkeley, and I'm intending to double major in Business Administration and Media Studies. In my free time, I love playing badminton, SSB Melee/Brawl, and watching a number of movies and TV shows, like Modern Family, Arrested Development, and Suits. I'm currently working in Marketing at ClickTime, and I'm learning a ton of new skills. I'm looking forward to producing a successful intern project by the end of summer that can make a profound impact on ClickTime.
Melissa Pangilinan
I'm Melissa and I’m going to be a third year Cognitive Science major at UC Berkeley. I enjoy fencing and attending performing arts events in the Bay Area. This summer I'm working with ClickTime's Product Management team -- writing specs, designing mock-ups, and working on projects that will make ClickTime more accessible to everyone everywhere. I look forward to learning more about Product Management and optimizing ClickTime's user experience.
Shahrukh Ghazali
I'm Shahrukh and I'm about to start my senior year at UC Berkeley majoring in Political Economy. I work with the marketing team, assisting with ClickTime's inbound marketing efforts. I am fascinated by all things marketing; particularly the effects of advertising and social media marketing and intend to work in the tech industry in a marketing role. I enjoy music, photography, film, basketball and traveling. I am excited to be a part of the ClickTime marketing team this summer!
Valerie Liu
I'm about to start my third year at UC Berkeley, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In my spare time, I either draw pictures or agonize over the latest character death in Game of Thrones. I have been working with the development team, where they've been throwing both front-end and back-end projects at me relentlessly (but I enjoy it). If you happen to come across a page filled with rainbows and sparkles, that was probably my good work.
