ClickTime Reviews that Helped Us Smile Through a Bad Year

There’s no way around it: 2020 was a hard year.
No matter where you were in the world, your life was probably severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, global shutdowns, and economic uncertainty. And although vaccines have given us some hope for a less isolated future, we’re all still feeling the effects of the terrible turn 2020 took.
It would be easy to look back at the past 18 months and call it, quite simply, a bad year-and-a-half. But we also wondered, as a company, if there were any positives we could take away from a very difficult time.
Compliments from ClickTime Users that Made Us Feel Good...Even in 2020
To get a decent understanding of what our customers thought of us over the past year, we took a look at 50+ reviews left in the past year on several well-known review sites: While there’s always room for improvement, we were pretty pleased to see that, on average, our customers rated us around 4.5 out of 5 stars on major review sites. Below are some of the main complimentary things they had to say about working with ClickTime. We Provide Data that Helps Our Clients Make More Informed Decisions for their Organizations
The insights our reports — custom and pre-built — provide for businesses was the number one thing people loved about ClickTime. In a year that required a lot of guesswork, we were glad we could help people make data-informed decisions to improve their businesses.
Tom, of web marketing services agency WebVitality, said in March 2020, “The data we got from ClickTime was instrumental in helping us really determine our profitability per service line, per client and per person. Before we implemented [ClickTime], we were flying blind”
Lisa, from PR firm C2 Strategic Communications, said similarly that data from tools like “time tracking, time off management, and resource planning empower[s] our account managers to use our clients' dollars wisely and our team members to manage their time appropriately,” in January 2020.
Our Reporting Tools Help Businesses Present Data in Helpful Ways
Access to data is important, but you need a good reporting tool to help you understand your data and present it to stakeholders. Luckily, our customers tell us that our reporting tool helps them access tons of data, often with just a few clicks of the mouse.
In March 2020, Robbin, from Eastland County Crisis Center, a Texas-based nonprofit, said, “The reports needed for our grantors can be run in just a couple of clicks. No more pulling timesheets from folders.”
Customers like Roger, at building project and consulting firm Ayer Associates, tell us that the reports his company pulls from ClickTime are so helpful that they’re actually “pivotal to our monthly billing, and also inform our ongoing rates and prices.”
And clients like Nancy at environmental consulting firm AmaTerra Environmental, Inc., reassure us that, although our tool is powerful, it’s still easy to use, saying in January 2020, that one of their reasons for choosing ClickTime was that they wanted “to be able to run reports [and] look at data without hiring a person dedicated to run reports!”
Lucas, a manager at measurement company East Coast Metrology, said in March 2020, that the ability to link data however he needed — in this case, linking expenses to jobs — even “made [his] life much easier.”
We Help Clients Put their Data in the Right Hands
But access to data and powerful reports aren’t really useful unless they’re seen by the right people. Fortunately, we heard from CEOs, office managers, accountants — people in various positions across various industries — that they’re able to access data when they need it to share it with the right people.
Nancy, CEO of nonprofit Friends of the Verde River “appreciate[s] the ability to run reports and check in on results, employee by employee.”
Lisa, a controller at C2 Strategic Communications says ClickTime gives managers the information they need: “]They] can run reports to see who's on vacation, how everyone is doing against their time allocation budget, where we stand on clients to date. It's a great tool that lets them see their clients' status without solely relying on the accounting department.”
Beatrice, an office manager with safety consulting firm EHS Technology Group, says that her company even shares data with their customers, saying, “The project detail report is fantastic for our clients. [It’s] easy [for them] to see how their billing came together.”
At the end of the day, we’re happy that ClickTime helps so many organizations access the data they need to make more informed decisions about their businesses.
You Can Customize Our System to Meet Your Organization’s Needs
One of the reasons our reporting tools are so powerful is because our customers have access to data at a very granular level. That’s because ClickTime is extremely customizable, allowing you to track the details that matter to your organization. In fact, our platform is so flexible that multiple reviewers across very different industries and sectors — from attorneys, to PR agencies, to engineering firms, to nonprofits — said they felt like ClickTime was made for organizations like theirs.
Joel, at consulting firm Northeast Forest and Fire Management said in March 2020, “I did not have to reconfigure my operations to use the software. It worked how [my business] was configured because of its adaptability.”
And in August 2020, Robyn at health services practice Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness said, “I like that Click Time was able to work with my company to customize options for therapy [and] educational usage."
The ability to customize ClickTime to match your organization's workflows will save you time. Instead of reconfiguring your workflows to match the way our system works, ClickTime adapts to your needs.
Our Platform is Easy to Use
You would think access to large datasets and the ability to customize the system would make ClickTime difficult to use. But according to our customers, that's just not the case. That's because, no matter how you're using ClickTime, our system was built with one idea in mind: making it easy for everyone in your organization to fill out accurate, complete timesheets.
Jason at information services firm Wolters Kluwer said in March 2020 that one “pro” of ClickTime is its “intuitive user interface for everyone who is recording their time.” Since ClickTime was easy to use — and easy to train people to use — Jason said his company experienced “a smooth transition from our legacy time [and] project management tool.”
Sonya at nonprofit Earthquake Engineering Research Institute seems to have had a similar experience onboarding with ClickTime, saying, “It has been a very easy learning process for me and the staff.”
Managing ClickTime on the back-end is also easy for system administrators. Nancy at AmaTerra Environmental, Inc., says, “As an admin, it is also easy for me to approve timesheets and expense reports. And I can make changes if someone makes an error.”
With an easy-to-use solution, our customers spend less time training their employees. They can also avoid tracking down staff members with incomplete or incorrect timesheets. That means they can get back to running their companies instead of worrying about whether their staff has turned in accurate, completed timesheets.
We’re Very Supportive of Our Customers
While our system is easy to use and configure to your needs, many reviewers mentioned that when they did need help, our customer service team was highly supportive and responsive.
In fact, Natalie at nonprofit USENIX Association called our tech support our "most remarkable feature." In a review from January 2020, she says, "Any time I've had a question or problem, the support has been immediate and thorough. This is a rarity, in my experience, and well worth noting. Kudos to ClickTime for making this a priority and for hiring good, smart people.”
Julie at digital marketing agency Hedges & Company also adds that, if you're looking for a DIY fix, we also provide "great training videos." However, she's quick to add that "if you can't find what you need they are very responsive to email or a phone call. This is unheard of in today's digital world and sets them apart.”
But in addition to our friendly, responsive, and highly knowledgeable support staff and in-depth training documents, we also support our customers by working to continuously improve our tools. Angella at nonprofit NextEnergy confirms, saying, “ClickTime is always rolling out new features and making improvements." And Robbin from Eastland County Crisis Center — which has been using our time tracking tool since 2009 — says, “The creators of ClickTime seem to improve the software each year with even better reports and ease of use for everyone.”
We're proud to support our customers' needs with a highly customizable, easy-to-use system. And when they need more hands-on support, we're thrilled that our amazing service team can provide a helpful experience that makes clients feel heard and understood.
